Good
Afternoon TIGERFISH faithful,
We
closed July with another
fantastic trip on the coast.
Our day started off at some
local spots that didn't
want to cooperate. We worked
several different areas
and depths without finding
much. At day's end we found
very cooperative fish that
quickly filled our patrons'
sacks. Our day's total:
22 limits of very nice rockfish
which included a little
of everything, 1 ling cod
to 8 pounds , and 7 cabezon
up to 8 pounds. We'll be
out again tomorrow on a
Farallone Islands trip departing
at 06:00 am. There are still
a few spots available for
Saturday and plenty of room
for Sunday. For information
and reservations please
call us directly at
650.455.9599.

Afternoon TIGERFISH faithful,
Our
Collaborative Research trip
took us to the MPA at Ano Nuevo.
We fished inside the MPA finding
good fishing resulting in 174
rockfish for 9 anglers which
included 1 cabezon, plenty of
gophers, a few vermilion, and
a couple of coppers. We also
landed 4 nice ling cod and lost
a couple more. The weather was
flat calm gorgeous and made
for nice traveling today. We'll
be out again tomorrow doing
more of the same, but we'll
be fishing in the reference
areas which are the open waters
between Pescadero and Pigeon
Point. There is plenty of room
for Friday's coastal trip and
Saturday and Sunday's Islands
trips. For information and reservations

Afternoon TIGERFISH faithful,
Once
again it was great limit style
fishing for all aboard the TIGERFISH!
We were tied up, cleaned up, and
gone early enough to beat traffic.
The weather was flat calm beautiful
and the fish were chomping. We
hopped around several different
spots before we settled into the
a couple of REALLY good spots
that just loaded us up with BIG
BROWNS and COPPERS. The fish were
readily biting the feather type
flies, swimbaits, and the diamond
bars. We will be on our research
trips the next two days. There
is plenty of room for Friday's
coastal trip and Saturday and
Sunday's Islands trips. For information
and reservations please call us

today and tomorrow for some family
events. We'll be back out on Tuesday
for a coastal rockfishing trip departing
at 07:00 am. There's plenty of room
if you would like to join us. We

stocks in the Marine Protected Areas.
We'll then be available again Friday

Good
Afternoon TIGERFISH faithful,
What
a fantastic day out at the Farallone
Islands! The weather was pleasant
and the fishing turned out to be phenomenal.
Our first few spots were scratchy
at best picking at small blues and
yellowtail with a few nice browns
and coppers mixed in. We hopped around
different spots until we landed on
a real good one. This spot was actually
a big area that was holding big numbers
of big fish! Coppers, browns, vermilion, olives,
and yellowtail filled the sacks to
their limits. We ended our day at
the Islands with 33 limits of QUALITY
rockfish and 8 ling cod up to 13 pounds
for our 31 anglers and 2 crew members.
We'll be off tomorrow. For information
and reservations please call us directly
at 650.455.9599.

Good
Evening TIGERFISH faithful,
Tough
day, but we got the job done. The day started off
beautifully as we traveled towards the Islands.
Approaching the Islands the weather suddenly turned
and quickly turned our nice day into hell. As we
began to fish, we found ourselves fighting 20+ knots
of northwest wind and a strong uphill current. What
does that mean? It means that holding bottom was
very difficult and required a lot of work. Most
of our anglers fought the conditions and were able
to catch enough fish for themselves and the others
who had fallen to Mother Nature's wrath. We did
end the day with 17 limits of quality rockfish and
7 ling cod up to 12 pounds for our anglers. Also,
tally one more TIGER ROCKFISH for the season!
We'll be out tomorrow on a coastal rockfishing trip.
I'm taking the CODFATHER and the gang fishing. If
you would like to join us, come down to the boat
and check-in between 06:00- 06:30 am for a 07:00
am departure. For information and reservations please

Evening TIGERFISH faithful,
Our
private charter today got exactly what they asked for. We
caught 15 big halibut up to 34 pounds and limits of striped
bass up to 14 pounds for our 10 anglers. Once again the bass
just continue to be on a tear. The tides are becoming smaller
this week. Technically we should see a slow down on the striper
bite and an increase on the halibut. After today's charter
the TIGERFISH made its way back down the coast to Pillar Point.
Tomorrow's trip is a "go." There is plenty of room
if you would like to join us. Just show up in the morning
and come straight down to the boat to take care of all the
business. We have plenty of room all week. We may possibly
run an albacore trip this Wednesday depending on weather and
interest, otherwise we will be running a coastal rockfishing
trip. Give us a call at 650.455.9599 to make your reservations.
Looks like the albacore have arrived this year. Several private
boaters went tuna fishing and scored big numbers. As soon
as the weather lays down again we will be in hot pursuit of
the albacore tuna. At this time the tentative scheduling for

conditions permitting. Keep checking our schedule for an available
